Last year at this time when I was finishing 5th grade, I thought 6th grade was going to be hard because all the teachers will be giving lots of homework.
Actually, I found out that 6th grade was easy if you have friends to help you out.
I thought opening lockers was going to be hard but it turned out to be easy. I just listened well and I then figured out how to open my locker well and with out smashing it.
I thought the home work was going to be easy but it turned out to be hard. The hardest part about homework was that you are probably going to get homework for all the classes you have on that day.
Something I had no idea about but turned out to be important was photo shop because I had no idea how to use it but when I experimented I was better at it. In computer class we had to use photo shop a lot.
August 14 was the first day of school. I remember that I had to figure out where each of my classes were. So I had to ask my way there carrying a paper with the classes room numbers.
During August after school activities began. I participated in volleyball and I remember that I had no clue how to play and soon I got the idea. I got a shock when Mr. Galligan said "We are going to have tournament against BIT1, BIT2, and their are more teams but I can't remember them.
September 20 we had class retreats. I remember that I was sick and was getting bored. I had nothing to do in my house and my mom didn't let me play any games.
Tom Birdseye visited our school. He discussed about his notepad and how he uses it. He also told us that he adds people into his books.
We took ISA tests in October. They were a bit hard but some were easy. The last part was easy but it took a long time.
We had a big break from October 14 - 20. I stayed home playing my PS2 and my gameboy.
Parent conferences were in late October. They made me feel happy but angry. Happy because it got me more time to relax and angry because I wanted to get over with it.
I got my first middle school report card and I felt really sacred but when I opened it I was so happy because I had really good grades.
If you went to a dance or the Halloween Carnival, discuss that. I did not go to the dance but I did go to the Halloween Carnival. In the carnival I played lots of games and got at least 30 mixed with my brother's candies.
Our school play was The Great Cross Country Race. I did not participate in it.
I performed in a concert. I was plying the percussion and it was scary because you are the leader of the band.
We went on a class trip to Thailand from March 2-6. I remember that I fell down in the water with my bag when we were going to our tents.
There were a lot of changes this year. Something I was really good at was in ESL because I improved my language.
Something I wasn't so good at was humanities and math.
Something I would like to improve on is my organization.
I helped someone else in math and in humanities.
Spring Break was April 6-12. I stayed home and played with my brother and did not touch any video games.
Some of my classmates are leaving. I am also leaving and that is why I am sad but also happy.
Next year I am hoping that I do well in all my all my classes and get at least one honorole.
